Sheku Escapes Early Death froom hostile Regime for being Vocal

It was reliably informed that Sheku Kamara who hailed from the Northern Province of Sierra Leone has been an instrumental Athlete who was serving as inspiration to his fellow athletes over the years, has been accused by the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Government of President Julius Maada Bio for incitement. As a sport man and role model representing the Susan’s Bay community swimming club, it was captured that he was in the forefront when it comes to activities related to sensitizing fellow Athletes and exposing the bad governance of this Regime since they came to power in 2018. Kamara, they say was not only blasting the SLPP Government for human rights abuse, summary dismissal of civil servants perceived to belong to the main opposition party, the All Peoples Congress (APC), unlawful arrests and detention of politicians, supporters and members of the APC, killing of Northerners secretly, among others but he was also actively involved in sensitizing not only his colleagues but Grassroots people residing at his community and even beyond. Due to those crucial roles he was playing, his presence automatically served as a threat to Government stakeholders, party superiors and even Grassroots members belonging to the ruling party. Reliable information reaching this Media Practitioner revealed that Sheku Kamara has been facing severe harassment, intimidations and castigations from different angles within the hostile Government and party Stakeholders. Those life threatening incidences prompted the vocal Athlete to be secretly and frightenedly moving from one undisclosed location to another in order to save himself from unexpected confrontations.This Writer was made to understand that a closed friend of Sheku, whilst he was in hiding informed him through a phone call that he has been accused by the SLPP led Government to have hands in the August 10th 2022 peaceful demonstration that turned out to be a massacre which led to loss of lives of Security personnel and a huge number of civilians. He added that Skeku’s name has been written on both the Police Wanted List and the List done by the party thugs to clandestinely waste his knock him down either dead or alive when caught anywhere within Sierra Leone.

However, reliable sources have updated this Press that they have seen his photo displaying his alliance to the APC with the Presidential Candidate, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara during the 2018 and 2023 Presidential campaigns. He has been accused that the APC is using him to campaign for them in the disguise of a sports man and vehemently putting their own party in bad light, not only in Sierra Leone but in the eyes of the International community. Kamara, according to credible sources, has been strongly accused of being one of the pioneers that have been causing mayhem in the country. It is so because he has been exposing the unbearable economic hardship, the skyrocketed increase in prices of essential commodities and the unreasonable increase in the price of fuel(a major political commodity) from NLe 12 to NLe 24 on the 28th March 2022. He was pinpointing on the fact that, in a country like Sierra Leone, increase in fuel price has the potential to increase the prices of all other commodities and thus majority of the Masses will continue to live in abject poverty and holding on to the effects of political harassment of this undemocratic administration. His blastings were not limited to how the SLPP led Government members have been using Security personnel to kill,chase and imprison members of the main opposition party and the Pademba Road massacre which led to loss of so many lives, especially those who were targeted.

Moreover, anonymous sources have disclosed to this Media House that few friends of Sheku who are members of this cruel Regime advised him to swiftly find his way out of the country before he got killed by either assigned Security personnel or their thugs. Upon receiving that sensitive but scary message, he intensified his manouver tactics to escape the tyranny of untimely death for been vocal and fearless and that he does not want to be heartlessly shot at like the way they did to the late APC blogger, Alhassan Dumbuya AKA Evangelist Samson, whose sad event took place on the 14th August 2022.

In conclusion, Sheku Kamara became more determined and cautious to find his way out of the shores of Sierra Leone. This Writer unearthed that he was slightly missed to be killed by unknown gun man on his way out of the country.This regime is desperate to get rid of Sheku as he has been termed as one of the influential enemies of the State. It was unearthed that he finally left the shores of Sierra Leone to unidentified destination on Wednesday 14th December 2022.
