Foday Barbie Yansaneh, a Bisexual Escapes Untimely Death

Information gathered reveal that Foday Barbie Yansaneh who hailed from Gbanty Wallah, Lokomasama Chiefdom, Port Loko District was actively married to Mabinty Lamin Kallon, living as a happy family. Yansaneh was residing at 21 Alphonson Lane, Portee, Freetown. Devoid of the fact that they have been living with their children, Foday is a bisexual and several challenges have erupted due to his sexual orientation. Barbie, they say is an active member of the main opposition party, All Peoples Congress (APC) and that he was so influential among his mates during and after elections. He has been facing severe harassments and several deadly attempts to waste his life, though well wishers and good friends have been disclosing information to him, leading to his secret movements from one undisclosed location to another.

However, it was updated that Foday started feeling for his fellow man at the age of sixteen(16), when he was in Senior Secondary School. According to reliable information gathered, Foday met Musa Kamara in January 2022 during a football match and they were quick to develop feelings for each other. It appeared as if they had met for quite a long time. It was disclosed that as their relationship became very closed, Barbie’s wife suspected that his husband had been in a relationship with Musa and started confronting him with serious accusation. Foday did not admit to the fact that he was dating Musa Kamara. It is said that sometime in September 2024, Musa was celebrating his birthday and they went to Bureh Beach to celebrate with him. After they had collectively enjoyed the moment together, two(2) of them chose to spend time at the resident of Musa. One of their neighbours caught them ,making love and raised alarm. Spontaneously, it was revealed to this Media Practitioner that, in no time, a group of gallant youths dashed at them and vehemently accused them of homosexuality. They condemned that such an act is an abomination to the Land and persons caught in such a filthy conduct must be eliminated either physically or spiritually. Foday with his partner,Musa were brutally attacked, mercilessly beaten and Foday was struck on his right hand and sustained injuries on his face and genitals. As the situation worsened, Yansaneh swiftly escaped while Musa was continuously assaulted. Intelligence revealed that Barbie ran to an unknown destination in order to save his life. A friend of his, Suffian updated him that Musa is in a critical condition after been tortured and strictly warned him not to return to his former resident, as the youths and political Authorities belonging to the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) are desperately searching for him. They are bent on wasting his life at any time he is found in Sierra Leone. Eye witnesses confided to this Media House that the local youths, political stakeholders of the SLPP, joined by the Police, have been searching helter-skelter for Foday and his family members have been threatening to show his whereabouts. Due to the persistent pressure and harassment on them, they heed to be manouvering from one undisclosed location to another for the safety of their lives.

By and large, this Writer was told that Barbie do not know where his family is, and due to irresistible attempts to wipe him off by those strong inhumane forces, he clandestinely left the shores of Sierra Leone to a destination not known by anyone on the 11th September 2024. As the local youths, undemocratic politicians and unprofessional Police Officers are still bent on killing him for being the person he is and for being an influential figure in the APC, he is left with no better option than to run for his Life.
