Former APC Honourable and Town Chief Abu Bakarr Conteh,Killed in cold blood

Sources interviewed by this writer have updated that Abu Bakarr Conteh was the former Honourable and Town chief within the Koinadugu District, Kabala town representing the All Peoples Congress (APC) party. He was actively advocating to the people to come out in large numbers to register and vote overwhelmingly for the APC. During the campaign period, there were severe confrontations between himself, his family members, and those of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP). It was a do or die battle for politics and all tensions were mounted against Honourable and town chief Abu Bakarr Conteh.It is said that he mounted a special campaign on the 28th August 2022 for Party members and supporters to go out in numbers to register and vote for his party. It was affirmed that a lot of threatening remarks were made against Chief Abu Bakarr for been hyper active against their party, and since then, they have been pursuing him to waste his life. Political commentators revealed to this press that the impacts towards his party were considered as major threats, and every attempt was made to get rid of him.

Eye witnesses on the scene have optimised to this Media Practitioner that it was unfortunate that he was attacked at his residence by SLPP thugs in the middle of the night and killed in cold blood on the 25th September2023. Fingers were pointing at his relentless role played in order to ensure that APC takes governance again. In a Press Release, the APC totally condemned the brutal and inhumane act done by the SLPP. His siblings and family members are left in limbo languishing, as he was the breadwinner.
