Ambassador Sadiq Silla Encourages Collective Action in Agriculture

In a heartfelt display of commitment to sustainable farming, Government FEED SALONE, Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Cairo, Egypt, His Excellency Ambassador Sadiq Silla conducted a symbolic harvest on his farm on. Monday 2nd December 2024 highlighting the significance of agriculture in promoting food security and self-sufficiency families. Emphasizing the vital role of agriculture, Ambassador Silla has consistently advocated for families to engage in farming practices, viewing it as essential for community resilience.
During the event, Ambassador Silla called upon his fellow ambassadors, ministers, and senior government appointees to actively support President Bio’s FEED SALONE initiative. He urged them to leverage their positions to promote the program, which aims to enhance agricultural productivity and ensure food availability for all citizens. “We all have a role to play in this mission,” Silla stated. “Let us unite in promoting sustainable agriculture and making it a cornerstone of our national development strategy.”
Highlighting the importance of collaboration, H. E. Silla encouraged government leaders to engage with local farmers, share best practices, and invest in agricultural training programs to equip communities with the skills necessary to thrive. By doing so, he believes they can create a more prosperous and food-secure future.
