M.R. Distilleries Donates T-Shirts and Caps to SLRSA Supporting road safety campaign…
M.R. Distilleries has officially presented a donation of branded T-shirts and caps to the Sierra Leone Roads Safety Authority (SLRSA), reinforcing its commitment to promoting safer roads across the country.
The symbolic presentation took place at the SLRSA’s Headquarters on Friday 16th May 2025 on Kissy Road in Freetown.
Representing M.R. Distilleries is the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Mohamed Kamara. He emphasized on the company’s dedication to national development, particularly in addressing the pressing issue of road safety.
“We recognize the critical role the SLRSA plays in safeguarding lives on our roads,” Kamara stated. “This donation of T-shirts and caps is our modest contribution to amplify the visibility of road safety messages and show our solidarity in the ongoing fight to reduce accidents and raise public awareness on road safety.”
SLRSA’s officials warmly received the items and expressed gratitude to M.R. Distilleries for its partnership. They noted that the items would be used during awareness campaigns and public outreach programs across the country.
This donation marks another step in the growing collaboration between private sector stakeholders and government agencies, aimed at fostering responsible behaviour on the roads and reducing traffic-related incidents.
